Blizzard Entertainment, the World of Warcraft people, are looking for a Franchise Development Producer, “a highly organized individual with outstanding communications skills, proven experience in production, and a track record of shipping AAA products to help lead the efforts on its next-gen MMO. Individuals who are able to be the key evangelist for producing products which expand the next-gen MMO brand outside of the gaming industry, and also ensuring alignment with Blizzard Entertainment’s overall brand strategy. Blizzard added, that it is also essential to the key liaison between the development and functional teams within Blizzard Entertainment’s licensing, marketing and legal creation of brand-extending merchandises for the next-gen MMO. Being able to come up with ideas about books/novels, action figures, comics, short movies and apparels to promote World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, Diablo III would be a big requirment. Franchise Producers are essential for a company to enhance their popularity, facilatate the product placements and to enhance the gaming experience. Analogy, is a big requirment for this job as a franchise Producer
since being able to direct strategic analysis of market trends and competition to build and manage internal and external partner relationships is not a simple task.
